Founder effects are not born by chance or out of thin air; they arise from meticulous genealogical records linked to the strict exercise of certain cultures that, for all practical purposes, are genetic engineering.
Inbreeding multiplies what is already there. If you perform consanguinity in lineages with a 130 IQ, the associated neurological alleles are consolidated. If you do it with 80 IQ lineages suffering from personality disorders, you consolidate oligophrenia, Borderline Personality Disorder, and other neurological disorders due to unwanted homozygosity.
Forcing inbreeding to create a savant is not the same as creating an oligophrenic. One serves as a human calculator despite being limited in other functional and social aspects; the other requires you to wipe their backside after they defecate. Both have defects, but they are nothing alike.
