the best country to visit

I think, depending on what you expect to see there, there is still such a case if you live in a cold country and want to "winter out" the cold in your home place, this is an ideal option for you

I've been to a lot of places in the world,

But I think Italy is one of the best countries I have visited, and not just because I am Italian.

It is difficult to come up with a comparable destination, when Italy has so much history, and culture. Each part of it so unique, all worth seeing.

I recommend sticking to the main tourist attractions and places. If you go off the beaten path hire a guide/driver. I recommend the same for France and Spain. Younger people speak English but older ones, ehhhh.

Italy, Spain, and France are all great places to visit, but the best country for you depends on what you're into. Don't limit yourself to these three, either. There are tons of other amazing places to see around the world. Do some research and find a destination that's perfect for you. You won't be disappointed!

I agree, one should see as much of the world as possible.

Have you gone to Asia? I was planning to have my solo trip around Japan, Singapore and South Korea.
I have, actually just this past summer.

I have been to Japan and South Korea, they are great countries!

Depends, they are all great but Italy and Spain as for today are probably better option, if you want to feel like in Sub Saharan African then go to Paris, or anyother French city..

I've visited most of Europe and in my personal opinion (excluding Italy, which may or may not be, being Italian I just can't judge) I think that, overall, Spain is the best to visit when you consider all factors (environment, cities, food, weather, infrastructure, lifestyle, culture and history).

In no certain order Croatia, Hungary, Czech Republic, Poland, Denmark, Italy, Slovenia, Switzerland but all, and many more, amazing in their own way.

Spent the last couple of days in Italy again, this time Milan and Turin. Once again I'm amazed by the charm and beauty of Italy. Nowhere else in Europe have I met such genuinely friendly and helpful people. Italia, ti amo.
