That's why I wrote yesterday that it seems to me to be more suitable for testing the autosomal of northern and continental Europeans. But - at least as far as I am concerned - I'd say it works much less for southern Europeans.
Of the five peoples that fall into the combo, at least three - by the way, with such high percentages - I would say have little or nothing to do with my part of the world, and the whole thing becomes a statistical joke. Dragging in Caledonians, and then counterbalancing them with the Ancient Israelites of the Kingdom of Judah - so as to 'reconstruct' the genetic average of an 'Italic' - falls into historical nonsense

I understand what you're saying. It makes sense for me for the most part. It doesn't assign any Germanic though. I think what the calculator does is look at what your Anatolia N, CHG, WHG, Steppe, Iran N, and Natufian is and assign populations within the list that add up to what your Neolithic and EBA Yamnaya admix is. At least that's what appears to be going on. It's probably not at all what it's doing.

I agree with Stuvane that this calculator doesn’t necessarily produce the best results for southern Europeans

Will it really be like this? Or could it be that my Amerindian mixture, with its remote kinship with Asian populations, caused a certain deviation towards the East?
