Geographically, Cyprus is definitely in West Asia. It's even south of the Anatolian tectonic sub-plate. But culturally it's European.

More or less Balkans. Moldova is too Eastern Europe influenced, Slovenia is too Central Europe influenced, Croatia is like in the middle, Hungary is like Slovenia too Central Europe influenced, Romania is like Balkans + Eastern Europe influenced.
