Trump, JD Vance, Elon Musk and other cronies have long been described as fascists or neo-nazis. Many people refused to believe that the US could become a dictatorship, but this is what is happening right now. The paramilitary ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) is quickly turning into a sort of Nazi SA terrorizing the population. Their role is no longer related to immigration as they are now harassing, attacking and even killing American citizens, for no reason.

They don't go as far as saying that the ICE has become Trump's private militia, but it is what it has become.
The moment the rule of law ceased to exist in the US is when the Trump administration failed to condemn Renee Good's cold-blooded murder by an ICE agent and went as far as to claim that she was a domestic terrorist.

But the real nail in the coffin of American democracy came when Vice-President JD Vance declared that the ICE agents had absolute immunity against prosecutions, even in the case of murder! ICE has basically become a new Gestapo.
There are already statistics showing that ICE agents have been increasingly arresting and detaining people without any criminal records since Trump's second term started in 2025. But the shifts this week is much more concerning as they are now attacking American citizens for no reason.
