Yamna and other ancient Steppe people don't look at all like modern Europeans. The North Asian origin of haplogroup R was still evident in facial traits at the time (similarities with Native Americans). Bell beaker people already look closer to modern Europeans.




Paleolithic Europeans would not pass for Europeans at all today.

I remain sceptical about some details and I find the pictures given us to see seems as pic's made from to close distance (exagerations of perspective).
 
The noses and the mouths as a whole aren't reliable. The nose flesh form is not predictible by its bony constitution.
I think, contrary to Maciamo, that all these people looked very less different of us than he believes.

I add the Borreby reconstruction is very far from what this kind of man was (this bone form is still among Germ
