We have heroes by the score in the medical professionals in the front line; I wouldn't hesitate to call some of them "saints". :)

People have analyzed the cases based on looking at the percentage of multi-generalization households, and it looks like there may be a link. This is a case where strong family bonds, and being less likely to put old people in old age homes may work against us.

I wouldn't change it though, and I have a feeling the elderly who are getting sick wouldn't change it either.

For those who do not check the Coronavirus updates on Wikipedia here is a map of the number of cases per million inhabitants. It is more representative that absolute numbers.

Please keep in mind that the data is 2 weeks late because of the incubation period, so it should be multiplied by approximately 100. Additionally some countries are not testing much their populations (most developing countries, but also some developed countries like Belgium and Japan) so the situation is surely much worse in those countries that official data reports. Ideally we should check the percentage of people who test positive vs negative in each country to get a better idea of how much it has spread.

Pearls indeed. I also liked the selfie-videos of people dancing the pizzica in their homes which was posted by Salento.

Not the tarantula this time, but perhaps the bat. :) It gives new life to the Dracula myths, don't you think? Always hated the damn things, and bugs too.
