With regard to the J2b2 in Late Grothic samples from southern Poland, it's retrograde flow from the Roman Provinces, but any ideas as to how it drifted to the Carpathian region from Illyria ?
J2b2-L283 was also found in a group of Celts (I don't remember exactly where, maybe in Germany, but it was associated with the Hallstatt cultures). There were pre-Illyrian movements, probably linked to the Urnfields, which carried this marker across Central Europe to the Baltic. In the Carpathians it was before arriving in the Balkans (Illyria).
