I had never looked seriously at these pictures. Interesting. I suppose a lot fo these people are/were from the most "aborigene" parts of the island. They show as an average shorter noses than the so called 'ibeo-isular' type, and often enough heavier jaws (often on the 'cromalike' type, more than on the 'capellelike' one.). The 'croma' reconstructions have too long noses I think. These archaic traits had been cited since long ago and are not the ones arbored by the first Anatolian farmers as a mean, and I think the mesolithic people input is stronger on phoenotypes than on autosomes.
I have a theory which is that among crossings of people, the research of "exotism" imposes a trend towards more diversity and an equilibrium in external features which does not reflect the autosomes new mix equilibrium. Look at Askhenazes among whom the supposed typical Jewish traits or even just southern traits are finally rather seldomer than supposed.
