Over the last few months the Europe Travel Guide has undergone a complete transformation. There were only detailed travel guides for Belgium, the Netherlands, England and parts of Western Germany and France. Now almost all of Europe in covered with travel guides for 31 countries (still missing Malta, Cyprus and parts of the Balkans, but should be added soon). I have worked hard to list as many travel destinations in every country as possible. There are now detailed pages for over 100 European cities as well as nearly 60 natural parks, including all the best ones in Italy, France and Spain. I am especially proud of the work I did on the Top-rated destinations in Europe, which has detailed pages for the best cities, towns, castles and natural attractions, which currently has 155 detailed pages.
I would like to know what each of you think of the new travel guide. How do you like the layout and design? How would you improve it? Is there anything that you do not find user-friendly? Did I forget important places in some countries?
I am aware that at the moment it is much easier to navigate the guide using the desktop version than the mobile version because the the side menus and the way country guides are presented with attractions arranged geographically from north to south and west to east, which just translate as a list in the mobile version.
Eupedia started as a travel guide 20 years ago and I intend to revive the travel section and hope to make it one of the best guides of Europe available on the Internet. I suppose that I am biased as I designed the website according to my own tastes and preferences, but I find the Eupedia travel guide much nicer and easier to navigate than sites like Lonely Planet, Rough Guides, TripAdvisor and other major travel websites. But your feedback is important to me.
