I would like a pro Europe party that was strongly anti immigration, opposed to socialism, pro change of our electoral system to proportional representation, would chop spending by around €4000 per head, bring back corporal punishment and the death sentence, and repatriate all illegal immigrants and failed asylum seekers as well as refuse to take any more.
In addition cut Scotland loose but with 3 miles territorial waters only and establish an English parliament
Sad to say one doesn’t exist so it’ll have to be the Conservatives, and live in hope.
One certainty. Whoever gets into office if they deal with the unprecedented mess that Blair and Brown and their fellow travelers are responsible for they will be so unpopular because of what must be done they will be out on their ear for years just as the Conservatives were after Mrs. Thatcher pulled the UK back from the brink and took the blame for Labour screw up.

His target audience isn’t the normal everyday member of society.
He’s after attracting the less intelligent; those who feel disenfranchised, the skin-head thugs who see the Far Right political parties as a means of ‘legitimising’ (in their eyes) their psychotic behaviour; the Little Englanders: the otherwise UKIP supporters who combine hatred of the EU with hatred of the non-White races; and of course the gutter press because his rants when reported sell papers..
He’s onto a good thing, it provides him with a good living and all the thugs he can surround himself with. Even notoriety is better than anonymity in the eyes of the profoundly socially inadequate.
But it must be said, Griffin does express the sometimes legitimate concerns that Joe Public has and that are being ignored by the main stream politicians out of fear of loosing votes or in the certainty that the “other side” would cynically and dishonestly rubbish those legitimate concerns if they ever took them up.
For me it’s not Griffin that is the cause for concern, it’s that there is an environment in which Griffin can thrive by expressing concerns that many ordinary people feel simply because no one else in politics will go near them.
From a personal perspective he makes my flesh creep. A classic example of at the time of his birth the midwife being fully justified in slapping his mother.

It looks like we are heading for a hung parliament hopefully it will do the Tories out of power if the Lib Dems and Labour do a deal.
I think the Conservatives are going to do serious damage to the European Union's future if they get an overall majority.

I think you have to listen very carefully to what Cameron has been saying, and consider the audiences he has been addressing. There is no doubt that there are many "Little Englanders" who are natiural members of the Conservative party and who have had to be kept "on song".
I suspect that when it comes down to the bottom line the Conservatives will prove to be much more Euroean in their stance than has been the case with Labour who have actually been using the EU to hide behind and at the same time being not as positive and cooperative as they could have been.
