This amazing building was built in the 1980s and was the largest convention centre in Europe at the time. It has been abandoned since 2014 but there are plans to rehabilitate it. It's really quite stunning, especially when you see all the engineering that went into it.

I've attended several amazing concerts in this absolute chonker of a building. Gonna say seeing Tori Amos in - I think 2002 - there was absolutely mindblowing. The ICC and its surroundings clearly are with most "West Berlin" about Berlin you can find, and the entire Area absolutely reeks of the 70s and the 80s to this day - like a throwback to darker times, when the future was balancing on a knives edge on a daily basis, but also better times, when people and Germans in particular still could get stuff "done".
