Actor Lee Van Cleef (the Bad in "The Good, the Bad & the Ugly") may have belonged to Y-DNA-Haplogroup Q. According to geni.com his first known paternal ancestor was Jan Van Cleef (Amsterdam 1628 - New York 1698). This man moved from The Netherlands to the colony of Nieuw-Nederland (later renamed New York) in 1653. His year of birth is also given as 1627, his year of death also as 1699. Family Tree DNA mentions a Jan Van Cleef (1627-1699) as belonging to haplogroup Q. I suspect this is the same person, although I am not one hundred percent sure.

Interesting he definitley has a unique look to him, I never thought he looked like a typical white person. Great actor and the good the bad and the ugly is the bust film of all time ??????

Y-dna doesn't prove anything whatsoever in terms of phenotype.
