    Yes, I've seen this. R-V88 in Africa has two main branches, R-V1589 and R-FGC21039, this is upstream of both. I thought I saw that there were 26 reported STRs for this sample, so they should be able to drill down further.

    Not to drag up an old thread, but are the STRs for R11746 available anywhere? R-PF6287 is so far upstream as to be pretty useless when looking at R-V88 derived groups in Africa.
